Oberbürgermeister Manfred Wagner (SPD) hat am Montag (13. Juni) in der letzten Sitzung des Magistrats vor der Neuwahl die ausscheidenden ehrenamtlichen Magistratsmitglieder verabschiedet.
Ruthild Janzen, Joachim Scholz (CDU), Ulrike Göttlicher-Göbel (SPD), Carl-Peter Greis und Amin Moawad (Grüne) werden dem Gremium nicht mehr angehören. Janzen war 31 Jahre lang Stadträtin, Scholz seit 23 Jahren, Greis war 18 Jahre lang Stadtrat. Göttlicher-Göbel und Moawad gehörten dem Magistrat von 2011 bis 2016 an. OB Wagner dankte den ausscheidenden Stadträten für ihre langjährige Mitwirkung und hob die kollegiale und sachorientierte Zusammenarbeit im Magistrat hervor. Am Mittwoch (15. Juni) wird der ehrenamtliche Magistrat in der Stadtverordnetenversammlung neu gewählt.
